Types of bridles
In addition to the most common type, the English bridle, QHP offers many other types of bridles. One option similar to the English bridle is a bridle with a drop noseband, ideal for added stability. Choosing the right bridle
Each bridle type has a specific function and affects the horse’s head differently. The drop noseband stabilizes the bit in the horse’s mouth and is ideal for horses that can get strong. The show bridle is used for showing horses, such as at inspections. Anatomical bridles are designed to fit the shape of the horse’s head, distributing pressure as evenly as possible for comfort. A cavesson can be used both for lunging and riding, with or without a bit. Alternatively, you might opt for a bitless bridle.
