Why use bell boots

Bell boots are worn to protect your horse’s hooves, coronary band, and heels from injury. They prevent cuts and scrapes from brushing and protect the front shoes from being stepped on by the hind legs, which could cause the shoes to come off. Be sure not to fasten the boots too tightly; they should hang slightly over the hooves to provide optimal protection.
